This is the last week of Lit Fest. Check out our Week Three Event Schedule, especially if you haven't made any yet. Legal-mystery writer Scott Turow, Oscar-nominated screenwriter and author Francesca Marciano, and erotica writer Linda Javin are all in town this weekend.

JUE Fest is in full swing, lots of artsy shenanigans for you indie kids. Scottish DJ duo Optimo is on at the shelter Friday night, and you can catch psychedlic rockers The Secret Machines at Mao Live House Saturday.

Entering its ninth year, the New Balance Jinqiao 8k is one of Shanghai's oldest and most successful community sporting events, attracting many of Shanghai's young professionals and a variety of corporate teams in Shanghai. The event has three race categories, the 8k run, the 2k fun run and the corporate relay, as well as fantastic performances, interactive games, the lucky draw and the fancy dress competition.
