Okay, we know we’re beginning to sound like a broken record here. It’s seems like every other month we’re talking about chocolate. But, come on! It’s chocolate. Is there really such a thing as too much? Certainly not with Mio Miko. This little boutique imports artisan chocolates from Belgian chocolatiers Daskiladès, Bouchard L’escaut, Elise and Belfine. With a stunning array of over 36 hand-crafted Daskiladès chocolates to choose from (from RMB99/100g), you’ll face some very difficult decisions. So we’ll help you out. A sure hit is the Pailette Noir, a hazelnut praline with crispy feuilletine enrobed in dark chocolate. Their Favorite, another dark chocolate beauty sprinkled with nougat flakes reveals the slightest hint of cognac in a velvety smooth ganache. But our favorite is their Sao Thomé, a light, coffee mousse perfectly contrasted against its handsome, dark chocolate shell. So what are you waiting for, give in to the dark side.
