Hot new lunch spot for FC residents: cute, trattoria-style pizza place La Strada has just opened up on Anfu Lu. The thin-crust pizzas are really delish, with perfectly-balanced toppings, and sophisticated enough to rival most of the Italian eatery heavyweights around town. Their lunchtime special is half a pizza and a salad for a reasonable RMB48.

There’s a little construction work going on upstairs at the moment, but be patient as Craig Willis, who’s heading up La Strada, tells us he’s opening a second spot there: Mr. Willis Restaurant. What to expect? “Roast chickens, cocktails and a lounge full of beautiful girls.” Sounds, well, awesome.

The photo flatters him. He's even uglier in the flesh...

Never mind all that. What agency did you get your model in this pic from? He's downright sexy!

It's not quite as cheap now... there's no more 48 kuai deal (wow, that really didn't last too long, did it?)

The lunch deal is now RMB68 (for a 1/2 pizza, salad and a choice of soup or antipasti). Not quite as good of a deal, in my opinion.
